The General Assembly is back at the Capitol for the 2023 legislative session, which started with the swearing in of new senators and representatives. I was among the 17 Missouri senators who were either sworn in for the first time or a second term. Since I won a special election for this seat in late 2017, this technically was the third time I was sworn in as a Missouri state senator.

A new year brings renewed optimism of working toward the best interests of my constituents and all Missouri citizens. I want to thank you for your continued support and look forward to serving the 28th Senatorial District for the next four years.
