Senator Jill Carter Invites Public to Coffee & Catch Up Community Meeting 

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Jill Carter, R-Granby, will be hosting a Coffee and Catch Up meeting on Sunday, Sept. 3, at 6:00 p.m., at Joplin Greenhouse & The Coffee Shop, 2820 E. 32nd St. in Joplin. 

Senator Carter will discuss her first year as a senator and the legislative process. She also plans to review legislation debated by the Senate during the 2023 legislative session, such as initiative petition reform, the S.A.F.E. Act, religious liberty and the Save Women’s Sports Act. 

"Everyone is welcome to attend. I have a lot to discuss and, as always, I want to hear from you. Bring a friend, bring your neighbor and help make our state better by participating in the process,” said Sen. Carter. “I appreciate your involvement and hope to see you there.”

Participants are encouraged to come ready to learn, share their concerns and ask questions.
